Experienced Interior Trim Engineer What You Will Do: Design and develop Interior Trim parts and performdesign-releasing duties forNorth American-based vehicle projects Develop innovative solutions to improve from a cost/mass, performance, and quality perspective Develop engineering concepts and see parts through to mass production Create and present technical reports to communicate project status and results Recommend engineering improvements through assessing current designs and competitor benchmarking Use previous experience to help mentor and develop fellow engineers within the group Generateand completeadvanced development projects related to part- or system-level improvements for future vehicles Travel up to 15% of the time, both domestically and internationally What You Will Bring to the Role: Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related discipline 5+ years of relevant experience 5+ years of working knowledge of Interior Trim components (e.g., pillar trim, carpet, door trim, headliners, etc.) Familiar with cradle-to-grave product development practices & processes Knowledge of US regulations Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and assembly of Interior Trim components Experience utilizing computer-aided design tools Capability in CATIA V5 is ideal, but not required Valid Driver's License & a satisfactory driving record What Hyundai Can Offer You: Zero-dollar Employee Premiums on Medical, Dental, and Vision for You and Your Family 100% Employer-paid Disability and Life Insurance Generous Paid Time Off, Including Vacation, Sick, and Abundant Holidays Hybrid Work Schedule Competitive Salaries A Global Environment that Fosters Diversity Retirement Savings and Planning Benefits Access to Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts Flexible Work Hours Other Details: Candidates applying for positions with Hyundai KIA must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
