Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring an SIU Client Embedded Case Manager

This position will include effective, clear communication with claimant to set interviews.

Case management duties would include managing all aspects of an investigation, proofing reports,

addressing all quality control concerns, and ability to file state fraud referrals.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Investigates insurance claims and obtains statement via phone.
  • Meets client completion due dates and provides client recommendations on current cases for future work.
  • Use independent judgment and client consultation to define and execute investigative action plans on all SIU Referrals.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the management of the case inventory assigned to them. Maintains a fluid case inventory to adhere to file requirements, due dates, and compliance.
  • Consults with the client to assist in the development and implementation of an efficient, effective, and ethical investigation of an insurance claim.
  • Thoroughly proofs and reviews all investigative reports to ensure that the report is professional and accurate.
  • Conducts quality control after the investigation is complete and ensures that all client objectives have been addressed.
  • Files State Fraud Referrals in accordance with state regulatory compliance requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience preferred, additional experience may be substituted for formal education with a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience conducting complex insurance investigations and two years managing or directing an insurance investigation program is required.
  • Extensive knowledge and use of internet based investigative resources such as Google, social media, Accurint, and TLO.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, and company specific platforms -. NOTE: Training will be provided if not already proficient.
  • Extensive knowledge of Disability and Life products and policies.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally; oral and written.
  • Ability to type 30-40 words per minute.
