Unlike many other internship programs, we strive to simulate a full-time job, enabling our interns to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, contribute to meaningful projects, build strong relationships with coworkers, and develop strategic problem-solving skills. Our program is highly selective, hosting only a handful of interns each year, ensuring personalized attention and ample opportunities to work closely with BlueHalo, an AV Company team members. We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Software Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Vivado, C++, GIT, and a strong understanding of digital signal processing (DSP). This internship provides the opportunity to contribute to real-world development projects involving FPGA design and embedded systems.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the design, development, and debugging of FPGA-based systems using Vivado
  • Contribute to DSP algorithm implementation in C++
  • Use GIT for version control and collaboration with the development team
  • Support testing, integration, and documentation efforts for ongoing projects
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to design reviews


Required Qualifications:



  • Experience with Xilinx Vivado design tools
  • Proficiency in C++ programming
  • Understanding of DSP concepts and their practical implementation
  • Familiarity with GIT and collaborative development workflows
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with MATLAB for algorithm development or signal analysis
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting or automation
  • Exposure to embedded systems, digital design, or real-time systems
