Description

BlueHalo, an AV company, is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Advanced RF Systems Electrical Engineering Team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience designing and developing wiring diagrams and supporting electrical integration efforts in complex systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work within agile, cross-disciplinary teams at the forefront of RF and defense technology.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the creation and modification of detailed wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
* Collaborate with Mechanical and Systems Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
* Support the development of system-level cable routing, power distribution, and interconnect documentation.
* Utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar) to generate technical drawings.
* Help prepare design packages that comply with applicable military and industry standards.
* Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revisions.
* Assist with troubleshooting and validation of wiring assemblies during prototyping or system integration.

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Junior, Senior, or recent graduate preferred).
* Experience creating or interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
* Basic understanding of power systems, grounding, and signal integrity principles.
* Knowledge of cable and connector types used in defense or aerospace applications is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
* Bonus: Experience with hands-on wiring or cable assembly.
* Due to the nature of this role U.S. citizenship is required.
* Preferred ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
