Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed post, and you may be required to drive as part of your duties. *Must have a Active DOD Secret or Higher Security Clearance*

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or breaches within the facility.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for potential security-related incidents specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants for armed roles must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance or higher is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
