Responsibilities

Job Summary
The CM/UR Analyst is responsible for analytic support of various measures associated with organization's Case Management and Utilization Review departments. The CM/UR Analyst performs a variety of functions involving data entry, data mining, analysis, interpretation and presentation of clinical process and outcome data, quality measurement and other data to support and direct key decisions for the department and organization improvement initiatives. Position extracts financial, clinical and productivity data from multiple information systems, conducts analyses, and prepares reports. Assists in the preparation of facility-wide variance reporting, productivity reporting, and building business intelligence visualizations. Maintains and updates numerous tables from data entry software applications and may manipulate for practical reporting to various departments.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    Demonstrates ability to apply critical thinking and problems solving skills and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a variety of standard, ad-hoc and customized reports. Works with large amounts of data and analyzes the data for trends and patterns. Makes both conclusions and recommendations for future efforts. Utilizes software tools to mine, extract, and manipulate data to produce simple analyses and reporting. This includes retrieving data from systems or other data sources, validating data, merging data from multiple sources, creating training materials and/or work instructions, and interacting with end users to achieve the desired results.
  • Data Display and Reporting:
    Presents actionable data to end users in the format best matched to their needs, including publishing key reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Provides support to users in interpreting and presenting data, including presentation of data to individuals and groups as needed. Develops presentations and reports, including tables, charts, and graphs to present data in a format that is accurate, useful, and understandable to the end user. Performs basic auditing, data gathering and data entry into spreadsheets and databases. Provides support to users in interpreting and presenting data.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    Interacts and works collaboratively to integrate, coordinate, and manage data integrity and reporting out of multiple systems. Communicates and collaborates with other departments or leaders in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis.
  • Acts as the Xsolis Database Administrator
  • Performs tasks delegated by the department leaders to support the department's work.

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience Required
