Tectonic is seeking highly qualified and experienced Project Managers / Resident Engineers to oversee the stabilization and reconstruction of the East River Esplanade and the reconstruction of the Hammond Cove Marina!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions of this position include overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and budgets. Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, monitor schedules, and present status reports. Conduct field inspections, supervise pile driving, and inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for compliance. Provide technical guidance, review submissions, and resolve issues. Liaise with our Client and other agencies, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts, as well as all other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field;
  • Valid Professional Engineer license or NICET IV certification is required;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy construction, pile foundation, and waterfront construction;
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical skills;
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency with in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to utilize any project-related software;
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the project site.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is frequently required to assume a stationary position, handle, inspect, and/or feel documents, materials and/or equipment relevant to the job and communicate about same. The employee will also need to process manual and/or computer generated reports, and will be required to communicate via the Corporate e-mail and telephone systems. They are also occasionally be required to move around on the job-site, including ascending or descending on the landscape or on a ladder, and positioning themselves appropriately to access necessary testing materials and equipment; they are sometimes required to do so in hazardous conditions, such as in rain or snow. The employee must regularly lift and/or move equipment and materials up to 25 lbs. This position may require sometimes operating a motor-vehicle, which may require assuming a stationary position for extended periods of time.

PAY RANGE

Tectonic's goal is to compensate employees fairly and equitably across all positions Companywide. Our advertised pay ranges are representative of our good faith effort to provide a reasonable anticipated salary range. The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidate's work location, experience, education, certifications, and capabilities compared to the advertised position.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000
