SEI's Advisor Business is expanding the Advisor Sales & Client Team to accelerate business growth. To support this expansion, SEI is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Account Executive to join the Business Transitions Team.

SEI's Business Transitions team is committed to helping advisors and their teams plan for, operationalize, and execute successful business transitions. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact, providing personalized guidance and support to financial advisors during their transition to the SEI platform, both from other custodians and when changing firms already on the SEI platform.

The ideal candidate is an initiative-taking and meticulous professional with a strong understanding of account transfer processes and a passion for delivering outstanding service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and efficient transition for advisors, building strong relationships, and fostering long-term satisfaction.

This role reports to the Managing Director of the Business Transitions Team within the Advisor Sales & Client Team. This role is based in SEI's Oaks, Pennsylvania headquarters.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial advisors throughout the entire account transition process.

  • Provide personalized guidance and support to advisors transitioning to the SEI platform from other custodian firms, managing all aspects of the onboarding process.

  • Manage the transition of advisors and their client accounts between firms already on the SEI platform, facilitating internal firm changes.

  • Coordinate all necessary activities to ensure a smooth and timely transfer of accounts, collaborating closely with advisors and internal SEI stakeholders and teams.

  • Proactively communicate with advisors to provide updates, address questions, and resolve any issues that may arise during the transition.

  • Educate advisors on SEI's platform, tools, and resources to ensure successful integration.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors, serving as a trusted partner and advocate.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transition activities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the transition process and enhance the advisor experience.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and SEI policies related to account transfers.

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on account transitions, advisor onboarding, or client service.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or in a related field, or minimum of 2 years' SEI experience in lieu of degree.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant technology.

  • Solid understanding of account transfer processes (ACATs) and industry regulations.

  • Experience working with SEI's platform and systems.

  • Current NASAA Series 65 or Series 66 license or ability to acquire within 90 days.
