SEI is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, and results-oriented Data Migration & Technology Integration Director, specializing in helping advisors and advisory firms successfully operationalize business transitions, to join the Advisor Sales & Client Team.

SEI's Business Transitions team is committed to helping advisors and their teams plan for, operationalize, and execute successful business transitions. This role is ideal for a technical expert passionate about ensuring the smooth and efficient integration of data and systems within the advisor ecosystem. You will play a critical role in enabling advisors to leverage SEI's platform and other technologies effectively.

The right candidate will be excited by the opportunity to build and optimize SEI's data migration and technology integration processes with the Advisor business. You will be a key contributor in designing, implementing, and executing solutions that deliver reliable and accurate data flow and system connectivity for our advisor partners. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of successfully managing complex data migrations and technology integrations, with a strong understanding of the advisor business.

This role reports to the Managing Director of the Business Transitions Team within the Advisor Sales & Client Team. This role is based in SEI's Oaks, Pennsylvania headquarters.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the technical expert for all data migration and technology integration initiatives within the Advisor business.

  • Design, develop, and implement strategies and processes for seamless data migration between various systems and platforms.

  • Lead the integration of new technologies and systems with SEI's existing infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including product development, client support, and relationship management, to understand data and integration requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data migration and system integration in a timely and effective manner.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, system integrations, and technical configurations.

  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security protocols during data migration and integration activities.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data migration and integration methodologies, tools, and technologies.

  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data migration and system integration.

  • Contribute to the development of training materials and provide technical guidance to internal teams on data migration and integration processes.

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on systems integration, technology, data migration, or related functions.

  • Deep technical expertise in data migration tools, ETL processes, database management systems (i.e., SQL), and API integrations.

  • Strong understanding of system integration principles and best practices.

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and data platforms is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Highly collaborative, results-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.

  • Entrepreneurial and growth-minded with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.

What we would like from you:

  • Experience working with platforms and technologies relevant to the independent advisor space.

  • Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations within the financial industry.

  • Experience with scripting languages (i.e., Python) for data manipulation and automation.
