Inside Sales Representative

Pay: $21 - $23 Per hour

Job Objective: To provide advanced administrative and sales related functions that ensure outstanding customer service, while working directly with and supporting outside sales associates on medium to large customer accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Meet or exceed sales and profit goals established in consultation with corporate management
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Addresses customer requests and resolve customer complaints utilizing company tools & resources
  • Enter quotations, orders and requests for credit promptly, completely and accurately
  • Follow-up on bids due to expire, orders, backorders, open quotations, and outstanding PO's
  • Provide accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information to customers
  • Source and procure direct shipment, special, and rush order items in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Works with outside sales associates to grow assigned account base and service accounts more effectively
  • Maintain and update customer and associate distributor pricing
  • Provide customer with information about new products, services and promotional offerings
  • Communicate company policies and procedures (warranty information, deposit policy, return goods policy, etc.)
  • Inform purchasing agent or shared purchasing centers of product needs and potential product shortages
  • Process credits on returned and defective material
  • Assist in preparation of job quotes, stock list quotations, folders, and submittals upon request
  • Coordinate deliveries with the shipping manager, warehouse manager, or supplier
  • Assist in CVP presentations
  • Work on Equipment Loan Agreements
  • Assist in building and maintaining customer target list
  • Generates business by conducting sales calls (cold calling)
  • Communicate openly and efficiently with other sales associates to provide them with information
  • Assist in other areas of location as needed (warehouse, etc.)


Other:



  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
  • Assist in conducting physical inventories
  • Work overtime as needed
  • In addition to the essential job functions, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.

  • Operating system entry accuracy
  • Sales and gross profit dollar goals
  • Accuracy of shipping tickets
  • Sales orders that are written up accurately
  • Sales orders that are pulled and shipped accurately
  • Customer feedback
  • Number of credits issued due to entry errors
  • Number of invoices/amount of sales by writer
  • Inventory management, (specials, defectives, etc.)
  • Number of new accounts
  • Total sales by writer


Requirements:




  • Minimum of two years of experience in inside sales or familiarity with RelaDyne products, processes, and procedures is required


  • Minimum of 2 years in oil and gas industry is preferred
  • Bilingual - Spanish is preferred
