Primary Purpose The Scientific Director, Statistical and Data Coordinating Center (SDCC), will lead large complex multi-center and multi-protocol clinical trial programs that are sponsored by the US Government, including the National Institutes of Health. The scientific director will build and maintain relationships with external government sponsor representatives and internal executives to ensure long-term program success. This role will also support business development activities to help expand Emmes' government business and additional corporate initiatives. This role also requires therapeutic expertise in one or more areas that align with Emmes research focus, including vaccine and infectious disease, ophthalmology, cell and gene therapy, organ transplantation, neuroscience, substance use, and maternal and child health. Expertise in biostatistics to provide statistical input, oversight, senior review, and guidance is a key aspect of the role. Responsibilities
