Description

Essential Functions:



  1. Apply knowledge of routing, switching, LAN, WAN, network design and implementation, network troubleshooting, network hardware configuration and network performance tuning to implement and administer core infrastructure.
  2. Perform firmware updates on SDWAN, network hardware, routers, switches, access points, etc.
  3. Perform windows updates and software updates on network management platforms.
  4. Configure and maintain an enterprise environment utilizing OSPF, BGP, Wireless networking, Data Center UPS, Cooling, Power, Rack Management, and SFTP.
  5. Work with Internet Service Providers to set up and maintain WAN services.
  6. Configure and maintain network infrastructure in cloud environments.
  7. Participate in projects, provide project status updates, and create detailed technical documentation.
  8. Assist the technical teams with escalated support calls.
  9. Maintain and comply with bank's policies, procedures, and strategies to provide efficient and effective service to internal and external customers.
  10. Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels and contract requirements are maintained.
  11. Participate in an after-hours on call rotation.
  12. Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
  13. Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  14. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  15. Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:



  1. Minimum 2 years network infrastructure experience required.
  2. Windows Server Administration experience is preferred.
  3. Prefer CCNA or greater Cisco certification.
  4. Ability to understand cyber security concepts.

  1. Valid Nebraska driver's license.

Working Environment:

Mostly indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.

Medium workload - lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds frequently and exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally.

Some travel required.
