Yoh is seeking a motivated and experienced Vivarium Manager, In Vivo Pharmacology
to join our client's team in South San Francisco. This individual will oversee the daily operations of the vivarium and lead in vivo pharmacology studies in murine cancer models. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in animal husbandry and preclinical research, with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.

Compensation: $60 - 75/hr (based upon experience)
Type: 18 month Contract / On-site (full-time)

Job Functions:

  • Manage daily vivarium operations including facility maintenance, animal inventory, and protocol compliance (IACUC)
  • Lead and perform in vivo studies (PK, PKPD, efficacy) using murine oncology models
  • Carry out procedures such as tumor cell implantation, dosing (PO, IP, IV), monitoring, necropsy, and tissue collection
  • Draft study reports, maintain ELN records, and support development of cancer models
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and animal welfare regulations
  • Train and supervise lab staff, contractors, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Support process improvements by evaluating new technologies and vendors
  • May participate on the IACUC committee



Qualifications:
  • B.S. or M.S. in biology, pharmacology, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of industry experience working with preclinical oncology models
  • Skilled in animal husbandry and in vivo techniques including xenograft tumor models
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; proficient in ELN, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GraphPad

Estimated Max Rate: $75.00
