The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting the Director and working with the research team, the Data Coordinator will provide support to the Healthcare Innovations Research and Evaluation (HIRE) program.

Responsibilities



  • Support the day-to-day functions of the HIRE group
  • Perform epidemiologic, biostatistical and clinical modelling
  • Perform data analysis using R, python, and other coding languages
  • Help maintain databases to ensure integrity and usability
  • Assist with manuscripts for publication, as well as grant writing
  • Perform additional related duties as needed


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus two years of related experience
  • Experience in modeling or statistics or computer coding
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Critical thinking and creative problem solver with ability to work independently as well as part of a team


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, epidemiology, engineering, applied math, coursework in decision science) would substitute for experience
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages would be an advantage with preference given to Python, C++, Python
  • Experience in programming, scientific analyses, and publication

  • Successful completion of applicable and systems training requirements
