Job Description:

TSC is seekinga Senior Radar System Engineerto work at its Trumbull, CT office to support airborne surveillance radar programs for customers including the US Army and its prime contractors. TSCcurrently has an ongoing research and development program that requires Subject Matter Expertise in radar modes for Ground Moving Target Indication (GMTI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging, Electronic Protection (EP) and maritime surface surveillance. Some business travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in developing and testing airborne radar modes
  • Work with customer to establish system requirements and metrics
  • Recommend laboratory and flight testing to assess performance
  • Review and analyze collected test results
  • Brief technical accomplishments at customer site

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • 25+ years of related radar work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of radar operation and theoretical principles
  • Deep understanding of radar system design, real-time radar signal processing and potential radar hardware and software issues
  • Willing to be subjected to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Eligibility to Obtain a DoD Security Clearance Required for this Position:Yes, will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Travel:Likely, but probably no more than 1-2 days every 3-4 months.
