Demand Planner

This is a hybrid position where candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Lexington, Kentucky.

Join our dynamic team as aSupplies Demand Planner, where you'll drive the creation and analysis of the supply chain forecast. Demand Planning reports into the VP of WW Financial Planning & Analysis, giving you the unique opportunity to be pivotal in developing strategic plans, working cross functionally with sales and supply chain teams, and analyzing impacts on financial performance and working capital.

Responsibilities:

• Create and communicate effective forecast based on demand patterns, statistical modeling, sales input, and industry trends
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor and report on actual demand against forecast
• Focus on both short-term and long-term forecasting models
• Identify and communicate risks / opportunities to management
• Work with finance teams to assure alignment between demand forecast and P&L views
• Understand forecast impacts on inventory and backorder

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's in Finance, Business, or related field
• Experience: Preferred 3-5 years in demand planning or financial analysis, or specific demand planning focus within school
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work cross functionally to bring consensus to varying views
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in Maestro by Kinaxis, PBI, and/or statistical modeling
