Job Title: Financial Analyst Reports To: Sr. Financial Director Program: 9003-Finance Department: Admin Setting: 100% Onsite (No remote work) Site: Arlington Administration Address: 2116 Arlington Ave., Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90018 Schedule: Thursday - Monday, 3pm - 11:30pm Status: Full-time/Non-Exempt/Non-Management Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 403(b) Retirement plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), etc. Openings: 1 Summary: This position will report to Senior Finance Director directly, is responsible for revenue bookkeeping, cost-reimbursement billing invoices preparation and tracking, clinical productivities analysis, back up staff for bank reconciliations, maintaining the financial system's Accounts Receivable module. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepare and record revenue related month-end closing entries.
* Clinical productivities weekly analysis for monthly-end productivity revenue recognition; working closely with Billing team to identify, fix and resubmit denials.
* Funders contracts, budgets & amendments tracking.
* Monthly programs spend down analysis.
* Work closely with Controller for annual single audit, preparing required supporting schedules and AR related files by the auditor.
* Work closely with Development dept for donations tracking and reconciliations.

* Other duties, as required by the Finance Department.
Job Description Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
* Minimum one year of experience in general accounting (Government funded nonprofit agency experience preferred)
* Strong Excel skills for data analysis; familiar with V-lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
* High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
* Excellent organizational skills
* Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems. QuickBooks, Blackbaud Financial Edge, Raiser's Edge and financial reporting software skills are highly desirable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* LA County DMH, DHS, LAHSA, etc. government contracts fiscal working experiences.
* Government funding billing invoices preparation experience.
* Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement principles
WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Field (may need to travel) and indoor office environment
* On occasion drive to different local sites
* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 pounds
* Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments
* Will be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odor
