Job Summary

As a Marketing Manager, the focus will be on implementing new marketing and engagement initiatives to drive
revenue and awareness across multiple lines of business; including non-game day events and restaurant
operations. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the operations team(s) to ensure that revenue,
customer satisfaction, and marketing standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement brand standards in presentation, signage, sales collateral, showcase events, uniforms, photograph, and editorial copy
  • Plan and oversee the development of marketing and sales promotion materials including brochures, digital and print ads, prospectuses, presentations, sales kits, ePushes, etc
  • Assist in the development and execution of promotional events, client events, and new unit openings
  • Develop innovative programs to keep location current and on trend with marketing practices and local competition
  • Support digital agencies by providing content and activating strategies on-site at events across the campus
  • Manage an engagement calendar in collaboration with culinary team, client achievements, and universal holidays/themes
  • Actively participate in the sales process via customer meetings, conferences, entertainment and attendance at customer and other relevant industry events.
  • Maintain sound internal control over financial reporting for the areas under your management
  • Foster positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels in a corporate and operations environment in a professional manner.
  • Self-motivated, well-disciplined, ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Drive for accuracy and going above and beyond at all times
  • Possess an interest in learning, observing, and practicing a variety of experiences in our industry
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned that contribute to the effectiveness of the department

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (preferred)
  • Previous marketing and/or communication experience (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools Photoshop or InDesign is beneficial
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, editing skills and strong knowledge of social media
  • Excellent writing ability with proofreading and grammatical skills
  • Self-directed, proactive, curious, flexible and adaptable
  • Exemplary presentation, managerial/supervisory and execution skills
  • Enjoyment of building relationships, demonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills necessary to work in a diverse environment
  • Articulate, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
