The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance (specify equipment on your site). Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Dallas, TX site location. This role will be working Monday through Friday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $33 to $37.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do in This Role Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures flawlessly. Apply electrical test equipment to repair electrical circuitry with precision. Build and close work orders in the asset management system with accurate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Address conveyance problems and determine the resources needed to resolve them successfully. Locate and supervise spare parts inventory strictly. Perform sophisticated maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications. Aid in training customers to operate equipment effectively. Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults promptly. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them. What We Are Looking For High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Typically, an Associate's degree or vocational technical training is helpful. Niche skill training/certification preferred. Demonstrates a senior-level knowledge with 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area. Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key tasks as presented above. Ability to be customer-facing while maintaining professional communications through email and in-person conversations with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians. Responsible for leading projects, teams, and advising day-to-day operations and tasks to the onsite maintenance team. Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds. Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation. Job environment may have limited space, dust, fumes, varying temperatures, loud noises, vibration, prolonged standing on concrete, and wet surfaces.
