  • Risk Communication: Maintain and update internal risk tracking logs, returned check logs, and restricted accounts. Draft monthly Risk Reports to highlight trends and emerging threats.
  • OFAC & FinCEN Monitoring: Conduct daily OFAC list screenings and FinCEN 314(a) data uploads, identifying and reporting potential matches to the BSA Fraud and Mitigation Officer.
  • Internal Audit Support: Participate in internal audit activities, collect data, analyze findings, and ensure compliance with risk policies and procedures.
  • Training & Education: Assist in delivering BSA/AML training across departments and senior management while supporting annual role-specific training.
  • Technology Oversight: Monitor and manage the performance of the BSA/AML software system, serving as a liaison between Risk Management and Verafin.
  • Program Development: Stay current on regulatory updates and assist in maintaining an effective BSA Program.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Support credit union risk assessments and represent the BSA team in meetings impacting UKFCU's risk profile.
  • Internal Communications: Manage BSA/Fraud dashboards and prepare a quarterly Risk Management newsletter with updates on regulations, training, and department news.
