Job Title: Network Engineer

Location(s): Bedminster, NJ

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years

Responsibilities


  • Perform and review wireless RF coverage for optimization.
  • Deploys and maintain network hardware, peripherals, services, and settings in accordance with industry standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Performs daily system monitoring; verifies the integrity and availability of networking hardware, services, systems, and key processes; reviews system and application logs.
  • Documents and performs network upgrades and modifications.
  • Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures.
  • Creates reports and analyze performance metrics
  • Adhere tchange management processes and procedures.
  • On a day-to-day basis, drive the initiatives that the In-Building Venue team is responsible for tensure they are on track, identify potential risks and mitigate impact tthe schedules and stakeholders by working with all of the Wireless Network, VBG and TPD organizations.
  • Manage deployment activities for the integration and commercial success (GA) of new products and services.
  • Responsible for end-to-end implementation of new Enterprise Wi-Fi initiatives.
  • Evaluate Wi-Fi performance at Enterprise locations post turn-up and engage technical SMEs for optimization.

  • Cisco
  • Aruba Networks
  • Ruckus
  • Client
  • Symbol


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Extensive experience managing and monitoring the health of Aruba Controllers, Access Points and Management Devices tinclude Airwave Management Platform (AMP)
  • Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network systems, switching, and routing protocol standards such as: TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, SDN, and 802.1x. Experience managing and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP
  • Experience using network management and analysis tools such as SNMP probes, network taps, and traffic analyzers.


One or more of the following active network certifications is preferred:


  • Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
  • Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP)
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA)
  • Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
  • CiscCertified Network Administrator (CCNA)
