JOB TITLE: Marketing Coordinator

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

POSITION REPORTS TO: Regional Marketing Manager

JOB LEVEL: Mid-Level

SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri; 8:00 am - 5:00pm; some overtime, and some weekends required

WAGES: Commensurate with experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator. This role plays a key part in executing marketing strategies and bringing the brand to life through engaging visuals and compelling content. Core responsibilities include designing marketing materials, supporting digital campaigns and media content, assisting with events, and managing promotional inventory. The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining creativity with hands-on execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support and execute marketing campaigns across social media, email, and print

* Design marketing materials, including digital graphics, brochures, presentations, and promotional items

* Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and blog posts

* Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials

* Assist with planning and executing regional events and sponsorships, including ticket and swag distribution

* Track and manage inventory of promotional materials and event supplies

* Assist with market research, campaign reporting, and calendar management

* Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement

* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution

* Stay current on marketing trends and design tools

* Other tasks and projects assigned by manager

REQUIREMENTS

* Must be local, willingness to work in office (live within 60 miles)

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field or equivalent industry experience

* 1+ years of experience in marketing and/or graphic design

* Strong design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms and content creation

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

* Ability to work overtime during the peak of Hurricane season or major events

PREFERRED

* Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, or digital advertising platforms

* Familiarity with email marketing tools and social media scheduling platforms

* Video editing or multimedia experience is a plus
