Essential Functions
What You'll Do - Provide one-on-one and group tutoring for specific chemistry courses you've mastered. - Create a welcoming and encouraging space for students to thrive academically. - Break down complex topics using clear, engaging teaching methods. - Collaborate with faculty and team members to continuously improve the learning experience. - Offer constructive feedback to help students overcome challenges and build confidence.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
What We're Looking For - Enthusiasm for chemistry-related courses with a strong understanding of the material. - Great communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to explain concepts clearly and make learning approachable. - Organized and reliable, with strong time management abilities. - Previous tutoring experience is a plus, but not required. - Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere.

Stark State College utilizes E-Verify to ensure compliance with applicable employment eligibility laws. E-Verify is an electronic system used to confirm the employment eligibility of new hires.
