(Non-FWS) Physics Student Worker Course Mentor - Main or SSC Akron

Position Overview:
Support students in Algebra based- Physics and Calc-Based Physics courses through tutoring and peer-led review sessions. Work directly with a professor to help students build confidence and master course material.

Details:

• Work Monday-Thursday between 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Up to 20 hours/week at Main Campus or SSC Akron
• Flexible schedule around your classes

Responsibilities:

• Tutor students one-on-one and in small groups
• Lead peer review sessions aligned with physics courses
• Support lecture, lab, and exam preparation
• Communicate effectively and stay organized

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of General and/or Engineering Physics
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
• Previous tutoring experience helpful but not required
• Must be a current Stark State College student
