JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for finance business partnerships and consolidation within the Company including planning, forecasting, variance analyses, maintaining financial decision support tools including modeling and working with ERP/system to provide reports, analysis and insights. The role reports to the AVP of FP&A and is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst who is highly autonomous, quantitative and curious. The Sr. Financial Analyst applies principles of financial analysis to support business partnerships. The position operates directly with various areas and levels across the organization, applying knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to complete job responsibilities. The work consists of financial analysis using financial systems and performing analytics along with reporting.

DUTIES:



  • Develops and consolidates financial and operational analysis used in driving business decisions. Prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports, staffing models, and expense analysis for business partners including leadership.
  • Develops financial trend analysis and summaries of results/drivers. Creates variance analysis reports and multi-dimensional financial models. Escalates any financial issues to management.
  • Leads real-time financial performance monitoring and develops root cause analysis and gap closure plans when results are not meeting planned expectations. Monitors expenses against expectations and/or plan and provides suggestions for improvement for those not tracking to expectations.
  • Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting working with Director FP&A. Sets and analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives. Tracks assumptions and related financial impacts, including new initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on relevant KPIs including financial results and operational metrics. Collaborates, coordinates and communicates across disciplines and departments.
  • Uses financial systems for planning, forecasting, analysis, etc. as needed. Serves as key user of SAP.
  • Prepares analysis and content used in the development of monthly and quarterly reporting for business leaders and executive management or Board meeting presentations, as applicable. Participates in long-term forecasting.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. Demonstrates Company's Core Competencies and values held within.
