Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to gain a full understanding of the Clinic Intake and Appointment Process at the CIDD to see how clinical operations functions. The Administrative Support side of this internship will encompass Clinical Administrative Duties (chart room work, document submission, DB entry, check-in, client mailings, room sanitizing, helping clinical scheduler and front desk staff, and helping families and patients attending various clinics) The Clinical aspect of this position will shadow our clinical providers/teams as they perform assessments and testing to gain knowledge and experience with how clinical assessments are handled.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The individual in this position must work well in a team environment and must be reliable, discrete, highly organized and flexible. The individual must be punctual Excellent customer service skills, oral and written communication skills and must be able to interact effectively with a variety of constituents. This position requires experience using and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook (including Outlook calendars) and Adobe. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Administrative support that can include document submission, database entry, support staff, and assisting when needed. This experience is preferred but not required.
