Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Sauk Rapids, MN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Programming, set-up, and running various welding machines, including hand welding, using a TIG welder, and orbital welding using an orbital welding machine of stainless steel and other high-purity materials.
  • Execute all of the client's Standard Operating Procedures per manufacturing-related duties.
  • Responsible for studying prints, drawings, and specifications to complete finished welds and lay out tasks using specialized computer welding equipment.
  • Proficiently use all approved hand gauges to inspect component quality at the work center.
  • Work as a team member to aid others in upholding and maintaining departmental standards, including quality and on-time delivery goals.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop advanced welding processes.
  • Understand and execute the client's safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts, which may cause injury to oneself, others, or the environment.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.61 - $25.14/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Contract.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a high-purity clean room environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing TIG welding of stainless steel.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Welding Technology.
  • Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform mechanical setups and changeovers for all welding operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to process and inspect work by prints.
  • Ability to perform a sequence of operations, consistently maintaining the performance level set for quality and quantity.
  • Basic PC skills for manufacturing.
  • Aptitude or understanding of products, systems, and the UHP industry to successfully perform duties.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math, blueprint reading, and weld-to-print skills.
