235 Williamson Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202 Job Overview: The Clinical Dietitian I provides optimal nutritional care to patients, which compiles with the standards of care in the dietetic profession. The Clinical Dietitian I is responsible for the medical nutrition therapy of patient/residents; nutritional assessment, nutrition care plans, patient visitation, diet counseling, consults regarding advanced nutrition support, as well as assisting in other areas related to the Food and Nutrition Services Department. This role performs nutritional assessments and nutrition screens, which are appropriate and timely per established policies and procedure. This role develops nutrition care plans and monitors patient response to care plan developed, provides inpatient discharge diet instructions, keeps thorough and updated information on patient profile sheets, and provides diet consultations as ordered by physicians. The Clinical Dietitian I collaborates with physicians and nursing to deliver quality nutrition care. Qualifications: Required:
