Role: Risk Assessment Project Manager 15+ years of experience Location: We are ideally looking for candidates in and around Troy MI to work at the Client site Job Summary The Project Manager will oversee complex projects within the Investment Banking Operations domain ensuring successful execution and delivery. This role requires expertise in Risk & Analysis and Risk Assessment with a focus on optimizing project outcomes. The position operates in a hybrid work model with day shifts offering a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints. * Implement risk management strategies to identify assess and mitigate potential project risks. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with organizational goals. * Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope timeline and resource allocation. * Monitor project progress and performance providing regular updates to stakeholders. * Facilitate effective communication among team members to promote transparency and collaboration. * Utilize analytical skills to evaluate project data and drive informed decision-making. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycle. * Optimize project workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. * Lead project meetings to discuss progress challenges and solutions. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and innovation. * Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project outcomes and future planning. * Support the implementation of best practices in project management to achieve strategic objectives. Qualifications * Possess strong expertise in Risk & Analysis and Risk Assessment essential for project success. * Demonstrate proficiency in managing projects within the Investment Banking Operations domain. * Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate team collaboration. * Have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. * Show ability to adapt to a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office tasks. * Display strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and inform project decisions. * Hold a bachelors degree in a relevant field with a preference for advanced certifications in project management. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
