Supervisor, Packaging (8-Hour Overnights)

• Supervise group leaders and hourly staff in proper operating techniques and procedures.
• Coordinate all aspects of shift operation including schedule changes and quality issues.
• Interact with other departments such as Materials Management, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Serialization, and Filling to achieve department goals.
• Supervise, coordinate, and control packaging and operating activities to ensure optimum utilization of personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Develop department employees through orientation, training, establishment of objectives, evaluating employee performance, communication of rules and policies while building employee morale and motivation.
• Responsible for training of all employees on the shift to ensure quality standards, cGMPs and productivity goals are met.
• Monitor and control production schedules and activities to ensure the meeting of departmental performance objectives and budgets.
• Assure all safety policies are followed in the department. Responsible for maintaining a safe, hazard-free work environment. Conduct safety meetings.
• Assure all company policies and procedures are followed and disciplinary actions are taken as necessary.
• Write deviations, discrepancies, efficiency reports, training reports, and any other required documentation.
• Review all batch records to confirm that products are produced per the procedures and batch records are completed right the first time.
• Trouble shooting any processing, equipment, and utilities problems.
• Define corrective/preventative action measures in response to internal, regulatory, and customer audit requirements as well as deviation investigation.
• Perform an other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
• All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs, and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education, experience, and training in related field
• Pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize objectives and accomplish goals.
