Position Summary:

Contribute/drive the development of the overall product strategy, product roadmap, and business plan with manufacturers for Almos Professional A/V Division.

What you will do in this role:
  • Assist buyers with product issues and product availability with vendors as well as negotiate price, deal with pricing issues, price protection, stock balance issues, shipment ETAs, and shipment PODs
  • Manage inventory turns to plan
  • Track open debit memos for monies owed to Almo, maintain within company standards, 30 days or less
  • Maintain inventory levels, inventory reports and review product to be ordere
  • Review open PO reports and assist buyers with problems when they arise
  • Enter product orders as well as product maintenance (Almo Access, Product accessories, CA Pro 65 data, Attributes, etc)
  • Coach-Direct buyers regarding communications to Sales on product specials
  • Define and track key business and usage analytics data to measure success for product areas.
  • Communicate regularly with Vendors and Sales team in regard to departmental updates, new programs, updates, revisions, etc


Qualifications

What we look for in a candidate:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a time intensive environment
  • MS Office competency, advanced proficiency in MS Excel
