Mgr Corp Aviation MX

Plans and coordinates all corporate aircraft maintenance and ramp operations. Oversees the operation of well-maintained, airworthy and professionally detailed corporate aircraft .

Essential Duties:

• Oversees the repair of an aircraft and ensures the plane is ready for flight.

• Communicates and maintains relationships with Aircraft OEMs, FAA, multiple aircraft supply vendors and FedEx Executive Management concerning aircraft fleet.

• Controls the maintenance schedule and manages the aircraft maintenance technicians.

• Manage and coordinate facility maintenance requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

FAA-issued airframe and powerplant (A&P) licenses required.

Minimum Experience

Minimum of five (5) years of A&P experience in corporate executive jet aircraft built and certified under FAR part 25 within the past ten (10) years. In-depth experience in maintaining airframe, advanced avionics and APU/jet engines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Extensive knowledge of FAR part 43, part 91, and OEM chapter 5 inspections and maintenance requirements.

Strong human relations, communications and planning skills.

Job Conditions

Corporate aviation safety sensitive position.
