This role manages the end-to-end scholarship process, including application development, fund disbursement, compliance, and stakeholder communication. The Scholarship Program Manager collaborates with donors, college staff, and internal departments to launch and maintain scholarship funds, ensure donor intent, and support student success. Responsibilities also include supervising staff, coordinating volunteer reviewers, and leading outreach efforts to promote scholarship opportunities. Essential Functions 30%- Provides strategic oversight and administration of the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation's scholarship program, supporting all ten Maricopa Community Colleges. Manages the full lifecycle of the scholarship process, including application design and development, process tracking, coordination of reviewers, student data management, and award disbursement. Ensures compliance, accuracy, and integrity through routine audits and quality control of all scholarship-related processes and records. Serves as the primary liaison for students, donors, college representatives, and internal/external stakeholders, offering guidance and support throughout the scholarship cycle. Collaborates with college partners and donors to develop and implement new scholarship opportunities, and leads the review and selection process through the coordination of volunteer reviewers and special committees. 20% - Leads the creation and implementation of new scholarship funds, including the drafting and evaluation of fund agreements. Ensures existing scholarships align with donor intent through ongoing monitoring and consistent communication with both donors and student recipients. Reviews academic and financial data to confirm student eligibility and maintains oversight of scholarship budgets and fund balances to ensure accurate and compliant use of resources. 20% - Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of scholarship recipients, application data, and associated documentation. Collaborates with donors to sustain scholarship programs by providing timely updates, thank-you communications, and other relevant materials. Prepares and delivers donor impact reports that highlight student success and program outcomes. Oversees MCCF dashboard to monitor student demographics; tracks scholarship award activity through the scholarship award log shared with Financial Aid. Manages the reconciliation of scholarship funds and utilizes Financial Edge to generate reports, assess spendable balances, and ensure accurate award disbursement tracking. 15% - Recommends and/or approves staff selection, directs training, and the disciplinary process for assigned program(s). Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of staff. 10% - Develops and implements strategic marketing and outreach initiatives to promote scholarship programs, including workshops, presentations, tabling events, and the creation of marketing materials. Contributes content for scholarship-related web pages, social media platforms, and other branding channels to enhance visibility and engagement. Serves as the primary point of contact for scholarship inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and student-centered information to prospective and current applicants. 5% - Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, educational leadership or related field and five (5) years of program administration or management experience, that includes two years (2) of supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications 1. Three to four years of experience in scholarship program administration and application processing within a public or private educational institution. 2. Three years of experience in customer service, program management, or related roles requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. 3. Two to three years of experience managing budgets and performing financial tracking to ensure accurate and compliant use of funds. 4. Two to three years of experience in creating and executing promotion and outreach strategies. 5. Two to three years of experience managing and updating student data, including academic progress and financial information, to determine scholarship or program eligibility. 6.
