***Contract to Hire - 90 Days)***

Job Summary

Gathers business requirements, conducts need assessments, develops functional specifications, and facilitates systems updates to ensure that developed technology solutions support business goals. Continuously monitor business processes to ensure they mirror best practices. Utilizes business tools (i.e., process maps, value stream maps, data flow diagrams, functional requirement specifications, project management, etc.) to govern documentation of systems configuration and business processes within assigned system(s). Meaningfully contributes to the technological advancement of the organization. Responsible for implementing and optimizing assigned modules (i.e., SAP S/4HANA Materials Management, Procure-to-Pay, Logistics Execution, and Plant Maintenance).

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the point of contact for assigned projects that include internal tickets, systems incidents, managing day-to-day issues, coordinating testing for releases, systems optimizations, and implementation of new features. Provides support to assigned areas to ensure systems related process are successful.
  • Responsible for identifying logistics and procurement business needs and owning the systems design and configurations based on those needs. Communicates and ensure proper documentation using specifications, statements of work, project plans, etc.
  • Coordinates cross-functionally to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance. Assists in testing to discover errors or issues in business processes, documentation, or user's inability to execute transactions.
  • Provides on-going application support and training of end users. Responsible for data integrity including managing master data, purchasing documents, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, and transportation processes.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement, documents the future-state business processes, owns the delivery of new functionalities, maintains data and transaction integrity, and promptly recommends and facilitates process improvements.
  • Implements best practices and seeks out opportunities to improve methods of doing business that will add value, improve efficiency, and/or contribute to cost reduction. Performs gap analysis and improves process through identifying new opportunities or products to support the needs of business.
  • Supports ancillary systems and collaborates cross-functionally across other modules.
  • Collaborates on reporting, evaluates data, identifies opportunities and trends, and provides insightful data-informed solutions. Responsible for purchase price valuation (PPV).
  • Ensures compliance with all internal policies, regulations, and contractual obligations. Supports audit requirements as needed.
  • Learns, understands, and utilizes the Butterball IT Management System (i.e., project management, request management, project portfolio, service portfolio, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
  • 8+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of transactional business systems and how they interface with the business (i.e., ERP, MES, Project Systems, PLM, etc.)
  • Proficient with MS Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)and relevant business systems (i.e., SAP-ECC, SAP MES, S4/HANA, or other Enterprise Resource Planning Systems)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of specialty areas (i.e., procurement, integration with FICO, supply chain, manufacturing systems, etc.)
  • Business acumen with the ability to understand complex data
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills and the proven ability identify, develop, and implement innovative strategic solutions that continuously evolve the business
  • Strongly understanding the Project Management methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) and the proven ability to utilize project management skills to effectively guide cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the proven ability to share ideas, knowledge, and best practices
  • Highly skilled at developing effective data-informed solutions to complex problems through evaluating, interpreting, and gaining insights from data

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Retail or Food industry
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP P2P, SAP LE, Workflow and Release Management, and/or SAP Plant Maintenance
  • Certification in SAP S/4 Hana Sourcing and Procurement

Physical Demands

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
  • The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.
  • Travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
