Day & Zimmermann is currently seeking a Millwright Superintendent to support our Project in West Virginia JOB TITLE: Millwright Superintendent GENERAL DUTIES: Provide oversight to the millwrights to meet Safety Goals, Quality requirements, Cost, Schedule, and design requirements. Represent the Day & Zimmermann in a professional manner, in appearance, conduct to employees or contractors and in business operations. Attend safety meetings with Contractor Daily reports Weekly schedule meetings with contractor Approve requests for payments from contractors and ensures that the work has been completed per the design documents / quality documents for all claims. Process Change orders for management and get approvals before executing the change ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: In General 1. Responsible for ensuring sub-contractor compliance to the DZ Safety Program and Quality Program. 2. Responsible for conducting all work within guidelines, policies, and ethical standards established by the company. Maintains all business records and reports properly and honestly, to protect company and client assets. Evaluates subordinates based on their commitment to the Codes of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct and acts as a role model. 3. Personally engages in field walkdowns of planned and ongoing Construction activities. Performs daily safety inspections of work areas. Daly monitor progress to assess status and resolve problems firsthand. 4. Keeps the project Construction Manager informed of changing field conditions and work progress. 5. Monitors scope, scopes changes, budgets, and schedules to ensure work objectives are met. QUALIFICATIONS:
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $95,000 - $ 171,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
