Your Team, Your Impact Optical systems supporting CDSP BUWhat You Can Expect Perform post-silicon optical validation for coherent DSP. Design and implement high OSNR Raman amplified fiber link. Develop calibrations routines of optical devices and coheret DSP chips. Measure and characterize optical components such as laser phase noise and bias control errors and analyze its impact on CDSP performance. Develop long haul fiber links with high SNR performance. Work with scripting language such as python or matlab. Develop optical SVT testbench for coheret DSP chips. Perform application of signal processing technique to optical communication. Develop next generation evk board for new developed optical chips. $178,006.00 - $180,006.00 per year. International travel 10% of time to clients outside of the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted. What We're Looking For Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Communication/Science, Computer Engineering/Science, or a related field. Must have work/research experience or/and completed graduate coursework with each of the following: * Scripting language such as python or matlab.
