Position Summary:

As a Machinist, you will be part of a team responsible for working closely with management, co-workers to meet production and quality requirements. You will work subject to lean processes to promote cost reduction and maximize production.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • 10 years min. experience on CNC Lathes and Mills.
  • Experience in close tolerance instrument type work.
  • Experience with exotic materials.
  • Experience with live tooling.
  • Willing to go that extra mile to produce high quality parts in a timely manner, working hand in hand with coworkers.
  • Must be flexible to move around to support the production requirements and have a can do attitude.

  • Set up and run a variety of CNC lathes and mills, meeting production demands.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety regulations.
  • Maintain all job related paperwork.
  • Adhere to all quality standards and procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of attendance and punctuality.
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly processes.
  • Supports QA functions in performing root cause analysis. Works with QA and Process Engineering to identify assembly tools, fixtures, and programs that are in need of repair, maintenance and/or calibration. Assists training and orientation of employees.
  • Provide honest feedback with respect to the role and the relevant processes.
  • Establish communication channels with management, co-workers, customers, and vendors to ensure effective communication.
  • Evaluate ways to reduce costs and streamline processes
