- The Marketing Strategy Development team is seeking a strategic problem solver who helps turn "what ifs' into "here's hows".
- This role requires curiosity and a deep understanding of the complex motivations and challenges our consumers, colleagues, and business face in order to provide guardrails and direction to build effective marketing solutions.

Responsibilities
Key Skills needed for this position:
- Develops marketing strategies aligned with enterprise priorities while anticipating stakeholder needs
- Leverages analytics and consumer insights to drive strategic development and recommendations grounded in business realities to best meet consumer needs
- Responsible for developing marketing strategies, including the master brand, distribution strategy, consumer targets, segment lifecycle strategy (acquisition through cross sell, retention and advocacy) and the overall campaign marketing strategy. Inputs into these strategies will include State Farm enterprise objectives, product line goals and development plans, and distribution capabilities and strength
- Contributes to setting strategic priorities across campaigns to drive objectives
- Contributes to the development, evaluation and interpretation of measurement frameworks
- Evaluates new opportunities for strategic alignment and marketing contribution
- Develops and presents annual campaign briefs
- Effectively delivers presentations to a variety of audiences
- Remains current on industry trends and brings forward opportunities for innovation

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Marketing/Advertising/Business Administration preferred, 3+ years marketing experience required.
- Experience in a brand strategy, marketing strategy or related analytics role is highly preferred
- Understanding of brand and marketing performance and effectiveness measurements
- Ability to consume complex data and research, connect disparate data points to draw meaningful insights
- Understanding of analytic and storytelling approaches, and skilled at translating and communicating complex concepts and ideas across all levels
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across teams, departments, peers, and various levels of leadership
- A proven track record of driving strategic direction in aligned and actionable ways
- Experience working with analytics teams, creative and media agencies

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
- Potential starting salary range: $104,000 - $139,500
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
