This position provides technical and field support to the dealer organization and Regional Managers. The duties range in scope from bid and quote preparation to making field visits to customers and dealers as required. This position may require interaction with national and/or international dealers and customers. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Promotes the sales of existing and new product lines through written, verbal and personal efforts.
  • Assists product team as necessary in developing cost reduction, product improvements and new products.
  • Assists in planning conventions, shows, customer visits, demonstrations, product advertising and sales forecasting.
  • Provides customers and dealers with technical assistance by reviewing specifications and, when necessary, preparing bids and quotations. Be familiar with Product Configurators, assembly of sales orders/sales codes, the E-Z Draw system, Baan, charge order systems, and ECO/ECR systems. Proficient with both CAD and ProE engineering tools to ensure proper form, fit, and function of design.
  • Provides dealers with special pricing quotations and assists dealers with strategic product decision and special product requirements.
  • Prepares and submits monthly reports and quarterly priority reports, writes information bulletins when necessary, and tracks sales volumes, leads and prospects.
  • Establishes and maintains competitor/supplier information files and provides product training to dealers, customers and staff.
  • Maintains responsibility for dealer sales training and ongoing relationship-building tasks.
  • Prepares for product training by studying service contracts and collecting competitive market information.
  • Prepares sales force to sell products by presenting training including product specifications and applications, sales contracts, handling objections, and product installation.
  • Provides resources by developing manuals and references and evaluates training by analyzing sales and installation results.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration/Finance or related field with an advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of five years financial experience in related field.
  • Must have effective research, presentation and writing skills
  • Must have experience in training management, coaching,
  • Must have understanding of the customer, process improvement, product knowledge
  • Driving for results with a motivation for sales
