Instructor, Leadership Development & Workforce Solutions (Full-time)

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean, Business Division, to teach specialized courses in Leadership Development and related programs in accelerated, traditional and online format using active learning techniques. Instructor will be responsible for curriculum development in accelerated and traditional format as well as experience in developing online course format.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

Must have a master's degree or higher in Leadership, Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Business.

Occupational Minimum Experience:

Must have two years full-time equivalent (4,000 hours) of relevant work in leadership, management, organizational planning and development, team leadership, project leadership, human resources or a business-related area.

In addition, one of the following must be met:

• At least one (1) year of work experience must have occurred within the last five years,OR:

• Two (3) years of teaching Leadership, Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Business course work at the post-secondary level within the last five years.

{One (1) year of teaching experience equivalent two (2) semesters full-time or four (4) semesters part-time - per State of Wisconsin Legislature Administrative Code TCS3 3.04}

• Online Information Management Systems - Experience with Self-Service or other online information management systems used for student advising, student programs, grading, class schedules and rosters
• Blackboard Ultra - Experience with Blackboard or other web-based course - management systems
• Technology-based Instruction - Experience with technology-based instructional delivery systems including SMART symposium, interactive touch screen monitors, LCD projectors, DVD players and/or other classroom technology
• Emerging Technologies - Experience with emerging technologies (eg. social networking applications)

Start Date
This position supports the Business & Management Pathway and is available to start in the Fall semester.
Hours
This is a full-time faculty position and will require teaching courses at MATC campuses, business, community, other sites, and/or online during the day, evening, and/or weekend. Hours, location, and modality are based on enrollment and departmental need. Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin, performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited.
