The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and maximizing profit goals by managing key customer relationships and collaborating with brokers and internal teams. This role requires a strong understanding of sales fundamentals, the ability to craft persuasive, data-driven sales strategies, and a passion for achieving results in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
* Communicate customer sales-related information between brand teams and retail accounts. * Using knowledge of sales, customers, the marketplace, and relevant channel and shopper trends, generate actionable ideas to maximize sales and profit goals. Understand the impact of your ideas on bakeries and retail stores. * With assigned sales brokers, develop account-specific plans that benefit their sales areas. * Drive excellence in execution through continual interaction with the broker sales team to include work-withs. * Present and launch new items with brokerage contacts and retailers and develop initial field forecast. * Analyze sales reporting and create strategies to drive sales and close any plan shortfalls. * Achieve annual sales and trade targets through effective selling and negotiation. * Meet with category managers to discuss past and current period results and develop/decide on plans for upcoming periods. * Attend key customer meetings with broker key account managers. * Drive one's own development through the adoption of capability tools. * Develop an understanding of the culture of both your company and your customer to identify opportunities to blend ideas for the benefit of both. * Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.). * Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent total rewards package. Salary range - $95,000 - $110,000.
