Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in the efficient movement and management of goods within our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our logistics processes run smoothly, contributing to the overall success of our operations

The Shift:

Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm ($20.75/hr)

Primary Duties

As a Forklift Operator, your primary duties will include:

  • Safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
  • Loading and unloading freight from trucks and containers while ensuring the safe handling of goods.
  • Accurately picking, packing, and staging products for shipment according to the established protocols and procedures.
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency, maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational processes.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records through effective tracking and documentation of received and shipped products.
  • Contributing to a clean and organized work environment, supporting overall safety and efficiency.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in material handling.
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks, along with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently with colleagues across different departments.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items, as the role requires standing, bending, and frequent movement throughout the day.
Education / Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification as a forklift operator is strongly preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous, with a focus on logistics, order processing, or inventory management.
