Warehouse Material Handler

Staffmark is looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Material Handler to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. If you're experienced in warehouse operations and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist with shipping and receiving: unload trucks, verify incoming shipments, and match purchase orders to sales orders.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment based on customer, work, and shipping orders.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe for all employees and visitors.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Participate in inventory counts and product assembly as needed.
• Handle check calls from drivers and ensure all delivery and load data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor daily inbound and outbound shipments, verifying arrival times and product condition.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Basic communication and computer skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts depending on freight volume (preferred).
• Previous warehouse or dock experience, particularly in the transportation industry.
• Experience with handheld scanners and basic inventory systems.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
