Responsibilities

    Crisis Assessment and medical/behavioral emergency
  • Conducts variety of assessments such as suicidal, Vestibular Assessment, immediate needs, functional, living skills, and resource acquisitions
  • Complete Interpretative summaries
  • Develops crisis/treatment/behavioral plans and goals for clients
  • Writes progress notes, summaries, and discharges
  • Group and Individual Counseling services
  • Skills Teaching
  • Case Management
  • Household management
  • Implements the treatment/rehabilitative activities and strategies
  • Crisis Prevention
  • Medication Administration
  • Participates in weekly staff meetings
  • Reports significant / major incidents or accidents
  • Establishes high levels of mutual trust and support with others.
  • Provides coaching/learning environment
  • Provides and promotes consumer choice and facilitates independence
  • Able to perform duties independently and as a team
  • Promoting the operation in a positive manner to the community and outside agencies.
  • Promotes/encourages community integration and choice making
  • Dependable, accepts responsibility for attendance and punctuality
  • Conduct self in professional and ethical manner
  • Cooperates and is willing to assist others, accepts direction

Qualifications

  • At least a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 2000 hours (post Bachelor degree) of verifiable work experience providing services and support to individuals with mental illness
  • Or, Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance required
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people
  • Operate general office equipment
