The Sr Director of Enterprise Tools and Transformation at T-Mobile is responsible for leading the modernization of IT and Network tools, integrating advanced AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. This role is pivotal in deploying AI Ops, facilitating event correlation, and enabling self-healing mechanisms to minimize downtime and optimize system performance. By strategically evaluating and rationalizing the enterprise tool landscape, this position ensures the implementation of cutting-edge tools that align with organizational goals and drive significant cost savings. Collaborating closely with Development and Operations leaders across IT and Network departments, the Sr Director fosters strategic partnerships that are crucial for the seamless integration and management of these technologies. Job Responsibilities:
Leads the modernization of IT and Network tools by integrating advanced AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability Deploys AI Ops, facilitates event correlation, and enables self-healing mechanisms to minimize downtime and optimize system performance Evaluates and rationalizes the enterprise tool landscape to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge tools that align with organizational goals Collaborates closely with Development and Operations leaders across IT and Network departments to foster strategic partnerships Drives significant cost savings through strategic tool deployment and process optimization Manages the integration and management of new technologies within the enterprise infrastructure Participates in other duties or projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related Field (Required) Business Administration or Technology Management (Preferred) 10+ years of experience in leading IT and network tool modernization initiatives, including the integration of AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency. 7-10 years of experience in strategic evaluation and rationalization of enterprise tool landscapes to align with organizational goals and drive cost savings. 10+ years of experience in fostering strategic partnerships and collaborating with Development and Operations leaders across IT and Network departments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to evaluate and rationalize the enterprise tool landscape, aligning tool implementation with organizational goals. (Required) Expertise in overseeing the integration and management of advanced AI technologies and IT systems. (Required) Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and foster strategic partnerships across departments. (Required) Proficient in managing the transformation processes within IT and network departments, ensuring minimal disruption. (Required) Ability to facilitate event correlation and enable self-healing mechanisms to optimize system performance and minimize downtime. (Required) Strong analytical skills to drive data-driven decisions and cost savings through tool modernization. Licenses and Certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - An advanced-level certification for IT pros serious about careers in information security. This certification is globally recognized and demonstrates abilities to design, implement, and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program. (Preferred) Project Management Professional (PMP) - Internationally recognized professional certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which attests to the holder's expertise in project management, including the management of projects that integrate new technologies and transformation initiatives. (Preferred) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) - Certification that indicates proficiency in Scrum, an agile methodology that can be applied to manage complex technology projects and is useful for roles overseeing transformation projects involving IT and network modernization. Base Pay Range: $215,200 - $291,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 35%
