40% Fixed-Term Dentistry Fellow Associate - Orthodontics

The University of Iowa's College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a 40% part-time fixed-term Dentistry Fellow Associate(2 days/week) in the Department of Orthodontics.

Major responsibilities:

• participate in didacticlearning through orthodontics resident level courses;
• participate in grad clinic - observe procedures and participate in grand rounds and treatment decisions; and
• under general supervision, provide treatment in orthodontic DSPclinic, including craniofacial anomalies and/or special needs.

Required Qualifications:

• DDS/DMD or equivalent; and
• MS degree from an advanced education program in Orthodontics.

Desirable qualifications:

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Orthodontics;
• record of effective teaching or mentoring; and
• record of Orthodontic clinical practice, with experience in the use of modern orthodontic approaches including aligner systems and temporary anchorage devices.

Anticipated duration 1 year.
