Daikin Applied is seeking a District Operations Manager in Richmond, VA! The District Operations Manager will provide leadership to the operations team. This includes overseeing the fulfillment process for work sold by Service Sales Representatives to ensure that customers' requirements are met, revenue and profit objectives are met, and operational efficiencies are achieved. What you will do:



  • Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting
  • Support sales through involvement in job quotation and estimation. Approve estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material content, assesses profit risk of jobs, controls material and labor costs, and provides feedback to the District Manager
  • Establish project timelines, meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedule. Manage projects, assigns personnel, oversees ordering of equipment and material, and assures that proper customer signoffs are secured per corporate policy requirements
  • Oversee quotation of call-in work, transactional sales (not requiring SSR skills), and assigns personnel as needed to ensure that quotes are delivered to customers on a timely basis
  • Provide consistent communication with current customer base and establishes effective working relationships to identify additional selling opportunities
  • Ensure that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled, and inspections completed on time
  • Provide input to Service Coordinator on scheduling activity of technicians
  • Work with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accounts. Manage Tech Tip program and leads customer care initiatives
  • Work with Service Sales Representative and District Manager to resolve customer issues, including customer visits
  • Provide weekly job status, revenue and warranty recovery report to DM

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 6 to 8 years; incl 4+ years people leadership experience
  • Previous experience leading a team of technicians, with formal or informal supervisory responsibilities

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 - $132,000 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an operations incentive plan.
