American Modern Insurance Group is recruiting for Field Adjusters to join our growing team! As a Field Adjuster, you will be working the frontlines of our business, supporting customers, in times of need and disaster. The role requires traveling to policy holders' homes within the Montgomery, AL area. Candidates must live within this area or very close to it.

In this role, you will:

• Handle property field claims from First Notice of Loss to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, estimation development and subrogation/salvage assessment.
• Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process, with prompt communication and excellent attention to detail.
• Conduct field-based inspections to determine the extent of the loss and prepare detailed estimates and documentation to support insurance claims.
• Establish relationships with producing agencies.
• Participation in catastrophe duty as needed. CAT duty can be throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks.

This opportunity might be right for you, if:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
• Successful work history experience, post degree.
• Some knowledge of residential and mobile home construction.
• A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
• The ability to perform physical inspections, i.e. climb roofs, crawlspaces.
• The ability to ascend and descend ladders in excess of 12 ft.
• The ability to lift, carry, and set-up ladders weighing 40 pounds or more.
• A self-starter and motivated to learn new concepts and principles.
• Organized and have basic project/time management skills.
