If so, then Senior Director of Emerging Platforms may be the role for you. BE A PART OF THE CONNECTION The Senior Director, Emerging Platforms will be a key leader in Charter's Emerging Technology and Innovation Group. Tasked with creatively identifying technologies, solutions, and techniques that will help define and further Charter's position in areas related to Edge, AI & Cloud based technology. This role will be a mix of both business development, product & service design and delivery towards commercialization. Additionally, this position will be a key architect in helping the company understand how to innovate faster and increase the velocity of service commercialization. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM Required Qualifications Experience: Experience in a Product or Engineering role related to embedded systems and/or consumer related electronics - 8+ years Education: Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or business Technical Skills: Practicing knowledge of cloud based systems and edge based technology. Practical knowledge of the key pieces of connected home experiences including cloud and CDN based video delivery, GPU and AI background based services, including sensory layer, Local Area Network, Embedded Control, Network layer, Wide Area Network, Data Platform (on-Premise, Private, Public or Hybrid Cloud) and Security (at the edge, network and enterprise) layer. Abilities: Able to lead and motivate others, able to handle multiple tasks and projects, able to meet deadlines, able to handle pressure Skills: Strategic agility, organizational agility, creativity, strong communications skills Preferred Qualifications:Experience ideating, creating and launching new products and services. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
