JOB TITLE: General Manager DATE: March 2025 PLANT/DEPARTMENT: General Manufacturing DIRECTED BY: President, Terry Douglas IMPORTANT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Senior Management Team, Plant Managers. DIRECTS: Senior Management Team, Plant Managers PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Development of and performance against budgets (P&L), Business/Strategic planning, Operational performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Recruit/Retain/Development of Key staff, Key customer relationships, Daily Operations. MAJOR DUTIES: Developing strategic operational plans that align with the company's mission and objectives. Improving internal processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Monitoring financial performance to ensure the business remains profitable. Leading, training, and developing a team to enhance performance and meet operational standards and to continue growth. Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to drive business growth. Managing resources effectively to maximize output and minimize waste. Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the manufacturing team to foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional development. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES: 10+ years of Manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior managerial position. Manufacturing Experience with Machining, Forging, Welding preferred P&L management Proficiency in manufacturing software, knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, experience with ERP systems, familiarity with quality management tools, and expertise in production planning tools. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Long periods of standing and sitting at times Able to lift 50 lbs.
